We are excited to announce that the following people have been appointed as either a Head Coach or a team of Co-Coaches of our U18 and U15 Representative Teams.
U18 Blue
Head Coach - Sarah Butler
Fresh from the World Cup and four years of college lacrosse at Longwood University, Sarah brings a new perspective on coaching. Sarah has also spent a year as an Assistant Coach at Longwood University. We are thrilled to have her coach our Premier U18 representative team for the first time.
U18 Maroon
Co-Coaches - Kate McLain and Sonjah Yaw
This dynamic duo from the Westforce Wildcats have been playing and coaching together for years. They have represented Auckland in countless Senior National Tournaments and New Zealand at U19 and Senior Women's levels. They are truly a formidable coaching team.
U18 White
Head Coach - Monique Simpson
Monique has over six years of coaching experience at Premier high school level and brings a vibrant and positive energy to all the teams she has been involved with. She has a real knack for development teams, a rapport with young players, and enjoys seeing them excel. Although she usually coaches U15 representative teams, she is up for the challenge and well equipped to coach our U18 White team.
U15 Maroon
Head Coach - Eleanor Burkin
Eleanor has been an enthusiastic Head Coach with our U15 teams for several years and has a huge passion for this particular age group. Having played in one of our first ever U18 National Tournaments, Eleanor has given a lot back to the sport and also works closely with her assistant coaches to ensure that they are also given opportunities to develop.
U15 White
Co-Coaches - Georgia Carter and Rachel Adams
This is the first time that Georgia and Rachel will be coaching a representative team. Having been deeply involved with the representative programme for several years as players, we are excited to see them continue to give back to the sport through coaching. Both Mount Albert Grammer alums and Westforce Wildcats members, they have been playing and coaching together for years.
