The Auckland Lacrosse Association is taking expressions of interest for players that are eligible for, and interested in, being a part of a team that travels to Perth, Australia for the Auckland Lacrosse Association's first trip to the Australian Lacrosse Association U15 National Championship. 

KEY INFORMATION

A higher detailed itinerary, cost and information pack will be prepared and available by July. At this stage, we are just interested in seeing how many players are interested so we can continue our preparations. 

What: the Australian equivalent to our New Zealand U15 National Tournament. This tournament emphasises participation and Australian teams enter two balanced teams. It is a fantastic opportunity to get exposure at an international tournament, learn from playing a different pool of players, and to have a lot of fun!

Where: Bayswater Lacrosse Club, Perth, Australia

When:  term three school holidays. Travelling dates: 29 September - 8 October; tournament date: 1 October - 7 October

Age cut-off: player must be at least 12 years old but under 15 on 1 January 2017. Therefore, a player must be born after 1 January 2002. 

Cost: at this stage we are giving an approximate cost of $3000-$3500. From experience, we over budget and refund the extra money to players.

NEXT STEPS

Another form will be sent in July giving players that have filled out this form more information about the trip, trial date and trainings. A final team will be selected by August giving the team(s) two months to train together.
