The ALA is please to appoint Grainne "G" Scott as Head Coach of the Auckland U18 team that will be attending the U18 Australian National Tournament in Melbourne in April 2017.

G will have the support of Assistant Coaches Catherine "Cat" Do and Marina Samountry on tour.

All three coaches have extensive playing and coaching experience for Auckland and North Harbour and are excited to see the merger of the two teams which aims to give girls greater development opportunities. With trials for the 2019 New Zealand U19 squad coming up next year, the tours to Australia in 2017 will provide a solid foundation for Auckland players who are keen to take their game to the next level.

A 16-player squad plus two non-travelling reserves will be selected at the Auckland Junior Academy camp on 4-8 January and announced in mid-January.
